Skid Control CoursesSkid Control Courses in the latest state of the art computer controlled Swedish built skid car frames are now available from Driven Ltd.
Most drivers who have even only a few years experience will no doubt be able to recall a loss of control or near loss of control at some time during their time on the road. Winter weather naturally makes this more likely and for drivers new or experienced its not something to be discovering when in the normal narrow confines of the public road with other vehicles all around you.
Why?95% of all accidents involve some degree of skidding or loss of control, normal driving lessons don’t cover any form of skidding or skid control and its not something that can be learnt from reading a book!
As well as being great fun skid control training can teach you to understand and experience many different forms of skidding in a totally controlled and safe environment with the help of a fully qualified and experienced instructor by your side.
Using brand new state of the art skid frames imported from Sweden we are able to recreate any type of skid and teach you how it is caused and then importantly how to correct it.

Our cars also have switchable ABS, Traction Control and ESP (Electronic Stability Program), which is ideal to see the difference between modern electronic help in skid situations and then contrast the same situation with no help at all!
