Advanced Driving CourseAdvanced Driving Course by Driven Ltd has been created to improve and develop the driving skills of all types of drivers to give them a much broader knowledge and understanding of current advanced driving skills. This course will aim to improve the overall driving skills of any individual or company driver and can be used to achieve this alone or in preparation for any one of the UK's advanced driving tests.
Typically drivers are taught how to apply advanced driving techniques to all aspects of driving, creating a more methodical approach to dealing with the day to day hazards that are experienced out and about on today’s busy roads. The emphasis is on control, developing improved observation, anticipation and planning, thereby creating heightened awareness of the hazards and risks that are causing accidents daily on the UK's roads.
During an advanced driving course, use of speed and positioning will be demonstrated, discussed and practiced during all sessions and drivers will be coached in the art of creating and maintaining space and escape routes on all road types. one of the main elements of advanced driving is creating time and space, these being the two things drivers generally run out of just prior to an accident, and are naturally focused on and encouraged to be maximised at all times. This advanced driver training helps immensely to build a drivers level of confidence and overall control, reducing stress levels and conflict situations sometimes experienced when out on the road. Not to forget of course the massive increase in driving pleasure that will be created by driving in the advanced way.
Who will benefit?
What will be covered?
Booking? To find out more about this Advanced driving Course or check available dates for 2010 please call Julie on 0121 308 1233, or email julie@driven-ltd.co.uk How long does it take?Full days or half days are available; we recommend one to one training so the instructor can concentrate on the specific training needs of the individual driver for maximum benefit, especially on the half day. Two to one can work well on the full days training as it is a long time driving for one person.
What do I need to provide?A suitable, legal and road worthy vehicle that is fully insured for the intended purpose. All drivers must be insured and suitably licensed for the category of vehicle to be used for any training and if it is required for the instructor to give a demonstration drive the vehicles insurance will need to cover this.
Where does this happen? We can operate from most areas of the UK via arrangement and have a number of instructors based throughout the UK
If preferred we can meet mutually at home or a place of work as required.
Where next? This course is perfect preparation for any of the advanced driving tests in the UK that we recommend.
